The Hotmail Chain

Hello again. Yesterday I talked about the best e-mail clients. Now here is a chain letter that thousands of people have sent and been fooled by when using Hotmail. I'll tell you what it is, and how to stop your friends sending it. The e-mail is as followed:
Hey it is tara and john the directors of MSN, sorry for the interruption but
msn is closing down. this is because too many inconsiderate people are
taking up all the name (eg making up lots of different accounts for just one
person), we only have 578 names left. If you would like to close your
account, DO NOT SEND THIS MESSAGE ON. If you would like to keep your
account, then SEND THIS MESSAGE TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. This is no
joke, we will be shutting down the servers. Send it on, thanks. WHO EVER
DOES NOT SEND THIS MESSEAGE, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CLOSED AND YOU WILL COST
10.00 A MONTH TO USE. SEND THIS TO EVERYONE ON YOUR CONTACT LIST. NOW YOU
KNOW WHAT TO DO. PLEASE DO NOT FORWARD THIS or REPLAY. COPY THE WHOLE EMAIL.
GO BACK TO YOUR INBOX AND CLICK ON NEW. AND PASTE THANK YOU FOR YOUR
ATTENTION. It's no joke if you don't believe me then go to the site
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/1189119.stm ) and see for yourself.
Anyways once you've sent this message to at least 18 contacts, your msn dude
will become blue. please copy and paste don't forward
That is the exact message which was sent. It is a fake. People claiming they are the directors at MSN and saying that they will close down all accounts if you don't send this message on. It is obviously a chain, but some people don't realise that. And by some I mean thousands.
Do not be fooled into sending the letter. That is just what they want you to do. By doing this you are wasting your own and other peoples time. No accounts are going to be deleted.
Click on the link they give you in the message. It shows a BBC news story about MSN. It says MSN are going to charge people for accounts. Look at the date over the story. It says it was written in 2001. Proof that the letter is a chain taking advantage about a story written several years ago.
Some people are now satisfied that the letter is a chain, and that they won't need to pay for there account and that there account won't be deleted. But for those who aren't, check out http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/4778046.stm
This is the definitive proof. At the top of the story on this link, you'll see that the story was written in 2006. It seems a reemergence of the letter has happened recently. I got it of a friend a week ago.
As I said, don't fall for it. Don't send it. Send the link I gave you above to your friends as proof.
Thank you, and if you were tricked by it, don't hesitate to write it down in the comments.
