iPhone's version 2.2 beta 2 may let users download podcasts without the use of a computer

Rumours have said that the new version 2.2 of iPhone software will give the user the ability of downloading podcasts directly to the iPhone without the use of a computer. A shot of the beta 2 version of this software shows the words "Get More Episodes" at the bottom of the iPhone's podcast menu. This makes it seem like the the software will let people download podcast episodes from the iTunes store without a computer. Makes sense too. We can already download music and applications onto our iPhones without a computer, so why not podcsts?

Fingers crossed! Great news for podcast lovers (or should that be "a great rumour?").

Hope you like the new look!

Hi guys! Hope you like the new look! And of course the brilliantly selected name (I <3 Tech - witty!). Little break there, you may have noticed. I hope it's been worth the wait!

E-mail: Gmail beta is really good

Well, I've just seen the new Gmail, and it's brilliant. A clear, Google Reader like interface and a host of new features, my favourite being Talk.
Here's my new list for the three main e-mail services:

1. Gmail
2. Yahoo! Mail
3. Windows Live Hotmail

All three are all excellent services, but Gmail wins with its new features.
